Weltevreden Game Lodge was established by the WGM Trust Group in September 2009 after the purchase of a piece of land no more than 35km away from Bloemfontein. With over 500 hectares of land varying from open savannah fields to lush sweet thorn bushveld bordering the Modder River, the idea of a Game Lodge was born!
Weltevreden Game Lodge is a private wildlife reserve and offers an exclusive venue and setting to our visitors who participate in the all-encompassing experience of eco-tourism, wildlife interaction, birdwatching, canoeing, conferences, seminars, team building, special events, wedding venue, holiday makers, overnight stays, weekend getaways, and romantic getaways.
